Livia Cetti
is an artist and stylist renowned for her handmade paper flowers. Building on her love of flowers stemming from a childhood spent observing nature in the mountains of Santa Barbara, she began making paper flowers professionally during her time as a style editor at Martha Stewart, eventually leaving a lifetime career in the floral and magazine industries behind to open her own studio, The Green Vase, in 2005. Inspired by the organic world, each piece is meant to be an impressionistic gesture capturing the spirit of the flower, and just like the real thing, no two will ever be exactly alike.
Livia’s flowers have since taken her across the globe, creating installations and arrangements from Paris to Tokyo, even gracing a state dinner in Washington, DC. An expert on all things paper flower, Livia has written two books on the subject, The Exquisite Book of Paper Flowers, and The Exquisite Book of Paper Flower Transformations. Her creations have been featured in the windows of Jo Malone and Tiffany & Co. to the pages of Vogue, T Magazine, and Architectural Digest.
She lives and works in a charming old farm house in The Bronx, NY.
